When it’s time to pull the battery tab, simply remove and reinsert your battery to complete this process. Start by following the in-app instructions. Note: If the sensor does not pair successfully, the LED glows red. Once pairing is complete, the LED glows blue for three seconds. Treat the Panic Button with care to avoid false alarms as soon as you pull out the tab.Īs the Button attempts to pair to your Alarm or Alarm Pro Base Station, the LED will blink. Important: The Panic Button can trigger an alarm as soon as it is paired with your system. Your Alarm or Alarm Pro Base Station should find the Button automatically. When prompted, pull the clear tab from the back of the device. The QR code and PIN can also be found in the product packaging of your Panic Button. If your mobile device is not scanning the QR code, you can enter the 5 digit PIN that is next to the QR code.Use your mobile device to scan the QR code on the back of your Panic Button.Step Two - Scan the QR Code on Your Device Open the side menu by tapping the three parallel lines in the upper left-hand corner of the Ring app. Updating the app ensures that everyone on your account will be able to see this new device. Remind any shared users to update their apps too. If there is an update available for your Ring app, please update it before you begin. Setting up your Panic Button in the Ring app is simple.
